LongfellowLongfellow (disambiguation) – In the same manner that Wordsworth redirects to William Wordsworth, Coleridge to Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Keats to John Keats, Dickens to Charles Dickens and Thoreau to Henry David Thoreau, so should Longfellow redirect to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow who is most frequently referenced by his surname.     Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 07:10, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, per nomination and after looking at the disambiguation entries. Randy Kryn (talk) 10:55, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Tentative Oppose. Presenting a laundry-list of other unrelated articles is not evidence that this instance is worthwhile. Please present some kind of evidence that this move will help editors or readers more than it will confuse or interfere. -- Netoholic @ 02:58, 16 May 2018 (UTC) Changing to firm Oppose because OP has replied, but still not provided a policy/guideline-based rationale. -- Netoholic @ 23:58, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, I have not as yet replied, but my reply is basically the same as the one I gave at the previous such discussion.    Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 19:00, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You asked for "some analysis of the relative prominence of other entries on the disambiguation page". The poet has far greater relative prominence. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:24, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
...and John Lennon is sometimes known as simply Lennon, which is why Lennon redirects to John Lennon. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:33, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
