This is a first pass at a page for Longcot, but it's obviously incomplete.

It would be helpful if more detailed information could be added in a number of areas including (but not limited to):

  • an attractive picture or two of the village
  • more Geographical information, especially regarding the geology of the area
  • better historical information, especially pre 1850
  • Information regarding the Chapel
  • Census data for 1971 onwards
  • A Recent Events/History section, to include the Activities of Longcot 2000(+), Recommissioning of the Church bells, Longcot Feast.
  • An external reference to the book "Longcot, a Village in the Vale" DONE

Or anything else anyone would like to add! (Unsigned comment by M1rtyn, 13:30, 29 March 2006)
