Location
[edit]The article states: In 2022, Long Wharf announced plans to leave its longtime venue and become an itinerant New Haven theater company. Later, it states: In 2022 Long Wharf declared plans to move out of its theater and become an itinerant theater company performing in different venues around New Haven. However, the Info Box displays a map, an address, and geographic coordinates. This seems contradictory. 32.209.69.24 (talk) 02:14, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- You make a good point here. I though about it and decided (for my part, that is) to keep the info-box with the map in the article since it reflects a significant part of the theater's development and personality. The map still shows the administrative center, if I understand correctly, so I think the box is justified for now. -- Melchior2006 (talk) 08:44, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. I am not 100% sure. I think that the Info-Box address (222 Sargent Drive, New Haven, Connecticut, United States) is the site of the old theatre ... and is now obsolete. In fact, I think I recently read an article about some new business taking over that location. (See below.) On the Theatre's website, it states that the "administrative offices" are: Long Wharf Theatre, Offices: 70 Audubon Street, 2nd Floor, New Haven, CT 06510, (203) 693-1486. A totally different address / site than the Sargent Drive one. 32.209.69.24 (talk) 19:15, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, I saw this just a few days ago: [1] ... Former Long Wharf Theater site in New Haven becomes cannabis dispensary. My, how we have fallen. 32.209.69.24 (talk) 19:19, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
