Lake or Pond
[edit]What is the difference between a lake and a pond. I though it felt with depth or more specifically the ability for light to penetrate to the bottom of the body of water. Long Pond is pretty shallow. Mikejc101185 (talk) 19:14, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Moved Page
[edit]I have moved this page to Long Pond (Lakeville, Massachusetts) because the title of Long Pond (Massachusetts) is no longer viable. As there is now an article about the Long Pond in Plymouth, further classification than Massachusetts was necessary. I have used Lakeville as the primary location over Freetown, since a large majority of the lake's area is located in Lakeville. Raime 02:46, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
