Gender agreement

Since the specific name tetradactyla comes from the Greek adjective tetradaktylos, the Latinized form is still an adjective. Consequently, Manis tetradactyla is correct (since Manis is a Neo-Latin formation by Linnaeus who treated it as feminine - although strictly speaking it should be masculine) but Phataginus tetradactyla is not, since Phataginus is masculine (2nd Latin declension, ending in -us).
