Article title moves

[edit]

This article has been moved from Lone Legion Motorcycle Club to Lone Legion to Lone Legion Brotherhood without any discussion about the criteria for what constitutes this article's common name. Under the definition of gang in section 4 of the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013 this gang is officially known as "Lone Legion MC" (see gang name (xv) on the list). However, the "Lone Legion Brotherhood Motorcycle Club" is a United States club according to a 4 March 2009 report by Maike Van Der Heide and Anna Wallis in the Marlborough Express. The repeated title moves have confused the two organisations, resulting in a small club from Blenheim, New Zealand, being confused with a motorcycle riders club in Boynton Beach, Florida that has a website and a similar name. The Florida club does not appear to meet Wikipedia notability guidelines, because a google search reveals almost nothing about them apart from their website and facebook pages. However, the New Zealand "gang" appears to be notable with a mention in Te Ara and several news articles revealed by searching for the keywords "Lone Legion". To avoid confusion, I think this article should either be moved back to Lone Legion Motorcycle Club or to Lone Legion MC, noting that for this organisation, the "MC" in the name is essential to distinguish it from the Florida based organisation. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 01:52, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
