Welcome to Wikipedia
[edit]Hello, Fezzle. I noticed your user page among the links in the category "Roller Derby." As I look at your user page it appears that you are using that space to rough out a draft of an article on the London Rollergirls.
I look forward to seeing an article about the London Rollergirls in the mainspace of wikipedia. The most important thing to move that forward it to establish notability with cited references.
In the mean time, until that is accomplished, it would be best if the category links were disabled on the user page. There are user categories that you may wish to use there later.
If I can be at all helpful, I have taken an interest in Roller Derby. Purely academic, of course. I'll add some links that you may find helpful as you work on the article:
You can contact me on my talk page for general help with the wikipedia. I'm pretty new here also, but I'm happy to help as I can. For discussion of the specific articles, you can talk to the other editors involved on each article's talk page. As you continue to be bold in editing, please also feel welcome in this collaborative community. - Michael J Swassing (talk) 22:40, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
Article looks ready
[edit]Having just read over the draft of the article more carefully, it appears to me that you have established notability with references in the Independent and also the Guardian. It would be my opinion that this article is ready for it's place in wikipedia's mainspace. - Michael J Swassing (talk) 22:52, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
