It was absolutely extended to highgate village in 1993 and it ran to parliament hill fields from its inception
[edit]I live on the northern end of this route, and used in regularly in the mid nineties going to and from school in Highgate Village, the C2 was never extended up to Highgate Village and has never run further than Parliament Hill Fields, further the idea that the route once ran to Parliament Square is ludicrous and makes no sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.177.130 (talk) 02:25, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well, very sorry to disagree with you, but disagree I must (and I too live on Holly Lodge so know the history well). The C2 did, indeed, get extended for a while right over the top; through the village and Muswell Hill up to the hospital by the North Circular - didn't last long as it got sold off and is now a housing estate - but it was extended there for a while (on an alternate bus schedule) then cut back, then the 214 became the extended service over a year later. --AlisonW (talk) 17:53, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
