There are also good parts of Colton and San Bernardino, plus when you get down to Grand Terrace, California towards Riverside rated one of the 100-150 best places to live in the early 2010's according to two quality of living standards surveys of all of the US' major cities and suburban communities, and Loma Linda falls in the same list (I read at #85, while Grand Terrace was at #114) including considerations for local climate, property values and closeness to good-paying jobs. 71.102.21.238 (talk) 22:35, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Claim that the largest supermarket does not sell meat
[edit]I'm skeptical about this claim. None of the three footnotes following it reference this claim directly. Loma Linda Market (to which I guess the claim refers) doesn't sell meat at all, but Staters and Wal-Mart certainly do, and I'm pretty sure that Clark's sells a very small range of organic, non-GMO meat as well. All three have a much larger square footage than Loma Linda Market. Remember - only around 40% of the city's population are Adventists, and not all Adventists are strictly and totally vegetarian.
