[edit]The article currently states that the film takes place in 1955. However, near the end of the film, in the scene where Marie-Louise is at Schukert's house, we can clearly hear the semifinal of the 1958 FIFA World Cup playing on the radio in the background. For example, Erich Juskowiak's red-card booking is clearly audible. Also, earlier in the film, election posters for the West German federal election of 1957 are visible on the town square.
