wrongfull assumption...
[edit]it's already possible to use this type of attack on 1024-bits..
Why ? Well you don't need ALL the answer of the precompute in order to get access to some degree..
If you have like 0.1% of all the answers required technically you have 0.1% access to all possible targets of this attack..
Juts an FYI..
(If the number of targets number in the miilions, 0.1% precompute yields round about 1.000 breaches of security..) But that's just me thinking here, if this is not true, well.. :D (mouth full of teeth smiling innocently..)

Group
[edit]The "Details" section says "group" but it seems all the "groups" are cyclic groups. A cyclic group is determined by its order. That, if true, explains what seems to be free use of "group" and "number" as equivalents. Without that, the use of "group" is confusing.
