Deleted "base of operations" wiki link as it lead to military headquarters. Actually, a base of operations has a physical location, which is quite different than the command and control function that an HQ performs.--S. Recommend merge
[edit]This article should eventually be merged into an article called "line of effort". That term is notable as a Wikipedia article, and this article would best go as a section or sentence in that article—when it's created anyway.--Airborne84 (talk) 17:15, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
