Contemporary log driving
[edit]I've no knowledge whatsoever about log driving, but the existence of images of contemporary log driving would suggest that the article's assertion of the practice being obsolete is false. Sandstein 16:58, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- I was told as a summer tour guide at Chutes Coulonge (Davidson, Qc) that the last log drive in North America took place in 1982 on the Coulonge River. But I have no written reference that it is the last in NA, only that the last log drive on Coulonge River took place in 1982 -- jlam (talk) 16:28, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
There's already a page named "timber rafting", which shows just the same !!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.234.46.211 (talk) 19:29, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
