[edit]this article require much further expansion--Iball 05:57, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
This article contains information from irfca.org. if this creates copyright problems those materials should be excluded. I have recently found that irfca.org has granted permission on the text on their site from here. I am myself trying to verify it.--Iball 14:46, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Iball, do let me know what the results of your endeavor were. I know this is 14 years later and your last edit was in 2019 :-) Regards, Field Marshal (talk) 16:55, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
Reason for moving
[edit]The word 'locomotive' better be capitalised.--Iball 18:28, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Why? It's not a proper noun. Slambo (Speak) 11:08, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please take a moment to read Wikipedia:Naming conventions, specifically, "Do not capitalize second and subsequent words unless the title is a proper noun (such as a name) or is otherwise almost always capitalized (for example: John Wayne and Art Nouveau, but not Computer Game)." In this instance, Locomotives is not a proper noun, so it should not be capitalized. Slambo (Speak) 18:37, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- I have re-moved the page to the original name--Iball 12:08, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Bholu.png
[edit]The image Image:Bholu.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --12:01, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]One user (User:LeoFrank) deleted in May all Metre and Narrow Gauge Locomotives. I think this is vandalism and nonsense. There are also books as source, but this user said there wouldn't be sources. I am German, I hope you can understand what I mean. --Universal-Interessierterde (talk (de)) 22:10, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- After here was no reaction I recovered the worst deletions. --Universal-Interessierterde (talk (de)) 23:13, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
