Title

[edit]

I thiught it had a different name like Times for Many--NJ Rock 18:03, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay is G-Unit's 2nd album, Time As Many or Locked & Loaded. I think these 2 articles should be merged.
They kinda shood, but only reason not to is it is unclarified what is the actual title
Is the song featuring the Game a real song, cause with them beefin i dont think its a real song
I earsed it all cause that's fake it's called times as many Cashman20
The Albums name is : Terminate On Sight ! Source: Thisis50.com. It says it on the front page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuurtis (talkcontribs) 08:14, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just checking

[edit]

Is this the real tracklisting?

I doubt it. It was added by User:Fataznboi30, a known vandal. Novalis 15:26, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Game

[edit]

WTH? The Game is out of G-Unit-Aftermath Records. The beef is done, but still The Game said in his latest album "DA" that he won't work with 50 Cent.

IDK.... Bustas tryin real hard to get game n fif on his next LP. - NJ Rock

Where's the citation that he's a producer??

Tracklisting

[edit]

Ok seriuolsy you have ot be joking, a tracklisting already. well thish as to be fake and for starters the fat joe diss with lil wayne is wrong!!! fat joe and lil wayne are good friends and have collaborated with each other numerous times so why would he join with g-unit to diss fat joe. Trimy67

No theyr actually beefin now, but still this tracklist is bull regardless, i'll giv 24 hours before i get rid of it - NJ Rock
I have removed the tracklistings again. This list should not be changing weekly. You need a confirmed and/or cited source before this is re-added to the article. Tiggerjay 23:19, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feel Good not from Shoot to Kill

[edit]

It clearly says within this Rap-Up post that "Feel Good" is the first single from the upcoming G-Unit MIXTAPE, not album. So do not add re-add this track to the article as it's irrelevant since it's going to appear on the MIXTAPE.

ThisIs50.com

[edit]

As of right now, there are four tracks "confirmed" through this source. I am not 100% sure of this, as they are added by IP's and I do not have an account, if someone can confirm this, it would help. --JpGrB 16:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently it's called "Terminate on Sight" now, check here.Bruce Wayne of the Rap Game (talk) 06:27, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move.

[edit]

Should this article be moved now that a new name has been revealed? --JpGrB 19:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not an official single, see the Billboard reference I added in the article. It states that it is a promotional single. It's believable as well seeing as they haven't really promoted it. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:05, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's the same for "Rider Pt.2" as well. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:05, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eminem

[edit]

G-Unit hasn't confirmed that Eminem has produced for the album. Two sources are used for that, in this page, only one of them mentions Eminem, saying that they are still waiting for a track by Eminem. After that, neither 50, Banks or Tony Yayo have said that Eminem has any production on the album. If there is a source for it, please post that up.

Wanna Lick?

[edit]

In the article it was written that Wanna lick is the first track off of the album when on thisis50.com 50 cent's official web site they say that "I like the way she do it" is the first track, Plus the wanna lick track ended up on the thisis50.com vol.1 mixtape:return of the body snatchers but not on the album itself the only 2 confirmed tracks are:I like the way she do it,and Rider pt.2.So i think that should be removed.Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by N-G-50 (talkcontribs) 18:30, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

wanna lick wasnt on that mixtape--122.99.88.94 (talk) 08:25, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pop Rap?

[edit]

c'mon guys u know g-unit isn't much of a (East Coast hip hop, gangsta rap, hardcore hip hop) group now maybe add pop rap to them cos look at their recent releases —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tanv91 (talkcontribs) 21:20, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well all recent releases have been gangsta rap/hip hop because they have released three mixtapes recently with that kind of music.so they are NOT pop rap they are indeed gangsta rap.and the mixtapes are:sabrina's baby boy, return of the body snatchers, and elephant in the sand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by N-G-50 (talkcontribs) 10:05, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are not right. they are not pop. you stupid i can not say any profanity so i'll leave it at that. you idiot —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.171.146.204 (talk) 19:34, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I feel so much hate right now, Soulja Boy is Pop Rap, P diddy is Pop Rap and Ludacris can`t even be considered pop so how are you going to fit G-unit in that genre? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.9.70.252 (talk) 00:04, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Album Cover

[edit]

No source. How do you know it's legit? The Rap-Up thing looks really fake. ♣ Makaveli ♣ 23:21, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's actually confirmed on ThisIs50.com. I don't know if you have an account there, but the link is here. --JpGrB 03:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, its just that this particular copy of the cover came from the RapUp website. I might upload a copy without that logo. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 09:42, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Track with Eminem

[edit]

The track featuring Eminem is just a rumor cause there is no real source in whitch Yayo realy said something about that in an interview.

See the reference given, theres a quote of what Yayo said in the "Songs" section. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 15:36, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Smooth Magazine Picture

[edit]

Smooth Magazine is a for-profit, print magazine. Is the placement of a scanned page from a print magazine, not even hosted at the magazine's website, within the purview of Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Drakulon (talkcontribs) 01:43, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I own the magazine, and an online subscription, the editor has given me permission!

I can't edit the page because it's locked. But to whoever can, you need to edit where the album charted for some of the countries. It debuted at 35 in Ireland [1] and 39 in the UK [2] Dillon90 (talk) 13:01, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews.

[edit]

I was just browsing through the WP:ALBUM page and I was looking at this specific section and it says about 10 reviews. I know there was much dispute over which ones were reliable and which weren't, but I think that if this is a policy, then some should be taken out. Anyone agree? --JpGrB 08:25, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I agree. I think we should take out two of the most unprofessonal reviews, whether they are positive or negative. That'll make it 10. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 08:39, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

final dot on title

[edit]

(continued from a thread on ANI discussing page moves) --Enric Naval (talk) 03:14, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "T*O*S" in the cover is a graphical representation of the acronym, but the title of the wikipedia article is not a graphic but a text. Looking at text representations of the title, they appear to be overhelmingly using a dot at the end by quantity and quality (I'm assuming that print sources take more care on getting the spelling right, as they can't go back and correct it later), and it's the spelling used on commercial online sites selling the album. Does this group or his discographical company have any official page where we can look up the "official" spelling? --Enric Naval (talk) 03:14, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just did a Google search. There's not a single hit for "T.O.S" + "Terminate on Sight" without the final period. All hits are for "T.O.S."

This isn't a toughie, the article needs to be moved back where it was. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 04:05, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I think I'm wrong on this one, and User:XxJoshuaxX is right. The website for G-Unit Records refers to the album as "TOS" and "T.O.S:Terminate on Sight", with no period after the S, just a colon. However does not refer to it with "Terminate on Sight" in parens. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 04:22, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is good enough for me, Joshua was right on the move. --Enric Naval (talk) 05:24, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring edits without explanation

[edit]

Edits that removed links to reviews by non-notable websites and blogs, along and controversial quotes from a living person sourced to a user-generated Ning website, have been restored by The-G-Unit-Boss with no explanation. What are the reasons why these restored edits are useful to this article? Flowanda | Talk 19:42, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect from Molly Hatchet album?

For some reason, this redirects from "Locked and Loaded", a live album by Molly Hatchet... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.149.253.71 (talk) 07:12, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Album Sales

[edit]

The reference to how many units were sold only gives evidence to the US sales NOT the 600,000 world-wide sales. Therefore world-wide sales should be removed or evidence provided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.192.228.20 (talk) 18:14, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Left over.

[edit]

I'm not getting into an edit war. I'm sick of those. I don't believe the "left over" tracks are of any particular notability. I understand you have sources. But that isn't the point. I believe, but I'm not 100% sure, we had this once before but it was deleted as being non-notable. Sourced or not, tracks that are leftover yet included on other albums, not very notable. This happens a lot actually. Whether these tracks are leaked or they're put on official releases. I mean, if that's the case, let's list every track that was leaked or otherwise legitimately released and covered, by reliable sources, from Lil Wayne. Not even tracks from TC3, but just overall any tracks. Were the tracks listed on this page ever even confirmed for this album, or were they just recorded in the same session(s)? --HELLØ ŦHERE 01:26, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

thisis50.com -- again -- is not a reliable source

[edit]

Pretty sure the references to a user contributed Ning site, no matter who or what owns or runs it, is still not going to cut it as a WP:RS, especially when the unsourced info related/quoted to another artist was posted by a mostly unidentified user on her blog. This info and source was removed months ago -- Talk:T.O.S: Terminate on Sight#Restoring edits without explanation -- but was very quickly restored[3] by User:The-G-Unit-Boss with no discussion or even an edit summary description. thisis50.com may be an "official" website, but as a mostly user-contributed social network website, it has absolutely no place being used as a source -- especially one related to WP:BLP -- unless I've missed a discussion/decision elsewhere.
