Full name
[edit]Modern sources persist in calling him E Lloyd Davies or even Edwin Lloyd Davies - but this is just repetition of an error. He's plain Lloyd Davies in St Cath's (the Welsh Somerset House), the 1881 Census for Ruabon, and his obituary in a Wrexham newspaper. Also, his daughter-in-law confirms it, as does a copy of his contract with Northampton Town which he signed for Herbert Chapman.
