Correct meaning of Llanfairfechan in English
[edit]found were "Church of St. Mary The Lesser" came from. Whilst not entirely incorrect this is misleading. The "Lesser" (bechan mutated to fechan, "small, little" etc., or "lesser") actually refers to the church, of course, but the first translation is easily misread and sounds like it refers to "Mary" (Mair). I've therefore changed it on the page. Enaidmawr 22:35, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- I still say that LLanfairfechan has got the highest proportion of good-looking women of any town in North Wales, but every time I put that in, it gets deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.211.104 (talk) 16:18, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
