George Blackburn Kinkead
[edit]This fellow seems to be Jr. There is also a George.Blackburn Kinkead III. It seems strange that sources don't connect father and son. Something strange going on? Political differences? I don't get it. FloridaArmy (talk) 02:32, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Although other sources identify him as William Bury Kinkead's son. All very confusing. I womder what's going on. FloridaArmy (talk) 02:37, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
- If the building was constructed in 1846 it is highly unlikely that it was constructed by George Blackburn Kinkead (1849-1940) as he hadn't been born. That would then suggest that it was built by his father William Bury Kinkead. The National Register of Historic Places assessment however indicates that it was built for George B. Kinkead (1811-1877), which would match the dates (i.e. he was 36 at the time the house was built & he had just got married). None of the references provided appear link George Blackburn Kinkead (1849-40) to this building. So one would have to conclude that the section on George Blackburn Kinkead is not directly associated with this article. Dan arndt (talk) 06:11, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
