Having reviewed the policy sections WP:NOTGUIDE, WP:NOTDIR and WP:NOTTRAVEL, the inclusion of cited transport links does not appear in breach. A high level listing of other transport links with no mention of times, frequencies or days of operation is a long way short of replicating a timetable.

If an editor does feel it is breach, can the relevant section/sections of policy please be quoted. Mo7838 (talk) 01:37, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As requested, a quote "When you wonder what should or should not be in an article, ask yourself what a reader would expect to find under the same heading in an encyclopedia."SovalValtos (talk) 19:25, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Which in this case would definitely be "YES" Fleet Lists (talk) 21:06, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense. The very fact we have a policy called NOTTRAVEL should be telling you something. Even Wikivoyage, our specialist travel wiki, does not list individual bus routes. It just gives links to the operators' websites, which is the most we do on Wikipedia, but with internal links to the operators. Asking for chapter and verse, or saying something is exempt because it is not specifically mentioned is wikilawyering. WP:NOT is policy which must be followed. It trumps any discussion on a talkpage. The guideline WP:PROSE and essay on recentism also have a bearing here.
I will be removing the unencyclopedic list again shortly in line with policy. If it is put back I will go to the admins to ask for sanctions against any editor who persists in editing against policy. That could mean a topic ban or a complete block on editing.Charles (talk) 21:53, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
