Track list
[edit]Thanks to PinkFloyd69 for attempting to do something with the track list, and apologies for reverting it, but it had problems. We need to credit authorship for the whole album, not just the first two discs. I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed before! We also need to do it in a way that matches the recommended format; please review Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums#Track listing. Vocal credits should not be included unless they are part of the official album credits. If you intended to do the rest of the album later, I suggest creating a personal sandbox page to prepare the changes, then copy and paste when they are ready. One other thing that isn't covered in the instructions page: when slashes are used in songwriting credits, I like to see spaces on either side, i.e. (Waters / Gilmour) instead of (Waters/Gilmour); spaces make the credits more readable, and their omission can cause formatting problems when a long list of names requires a line break. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 17:25, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
"Taken From"
Some tracks are actually "taken from", which would implie that they are the original tracks, and not covers of the originals. It makes it sound like a compilation album. Halmyre (talk) 16:49, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- "Below are the official track listings for the different editions of the album." ... except they aren't (anymore). What a bummer.
"Speak to Me"
[edit]- Is this track just a playback of the original Pink Floyd recording? – Hattrem (talk) 22:42, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Not really, because the spoken samples are repeated (unlike the album version). However, it is actually played from a recording, not live.Ugo1970 (talk) 12:39, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
DVD end credits
[edit]"Wot's...Uh The Deal" is played in the DVD's end credits, that might be worth mentioning. I am not quite sure, though, if it's a live version since I don't know the album version. 78.52.103.213 (talk) 16:14, 18 July 2016 (UTC) Arnd
