2011 comment
[edit]I've removed the comment that Robert Redford "apparently" considered this his least favorite film. That needed a citation, or at the very least, an explanation of why that fact was so bloody apparent. I can imagine that it very well might be true, and if someone can point the way to a cite, I'll restore that fact to the wiki myself.
I also removed the comment that the only feature of interest is Redford's shirtless appearance throughout the film. I think it's more significant that fair haired Redford appears shirtless in a desert environment and never uses suntan lotion. But--in any case, the film is about motorcycle racing, and Redford never tries to qualify for a race or compete in one without a shirt--so I think that comment was a little unfair and flippant. As to the idea that it's the "only" distinguishing feature of the film -- I would say that the motorcycle racing scenes are standout, and that Michael J. Pollard's performance was outstanding and that he stole the movie from Redford. Oldsmobile (talk) 18:52, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
