Billy's Cupidity
[edit]This article originally listed another film: "Billy's Cupidity (1915) (known as a Little Mr. Fixer outside of the United States)". As far as I can tell, this wasn't a Keystone "Little Billy" film; I'll put my evidence here, in case anybody needs it.
- The apparently comprehensive book Mack Sennett's Fun Factory: A History and Filmography of His Studio doesn't list Billy Cupidity or Little Mr. Fixer.
- The Universal Silents: A Filmography of the Universal Motion Picture Manufacturing Company does list "Little Mr. Fixer (aka Billy's Cupidity)".
So I think that the original creator of this page mixed up a 1915 Universal pic with the 1913-1914 Keystone series. Toughpigs (talk) 17:30, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
- Update: I found some more information now included in the article, which says that Paul Jacobs left Keystone with Henry Lehman in 1914, and made films for Sterling Comedies under Universal Pictures. The Universal Silents book mentioned above does list Little Mr. Fixer, but the listing doesn't include Paul Jacobs in the cast. I can see listings on the web that indicate Gordon Griffith played a character named Billy in Little Mr. Fixer. Toughpigs (talk) 19:33, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
