Daft Punk

My English is lousy. But could someone add that Daft Punk borrowed a sample of Can you imagine? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.165.33.32 (talk) 21:06, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Little Anthony and the Imperials is...

[edit]

I'm not convinced that this is an American v. British thing. I tried googling 'Imperials is'. The results were informative. The first sentence of the article, beginning 'Little Anthony and the Imperials is', has been lifted from here: http://www.vegascommumityonline.com/LittleAnthony.htm

Of this, only the opening sentence has this 'collective' usage. The article later uses 'the Imperials are...' once and 'Little Anthony and Imperials are...' a further time. So I respectfully suggest we change this back to the sort of normal English I remember Americans (as well as Brits, Aussies and others) regularly using on TV and radio in the fifties and sixties.
