Weasely attribution?
[edit]I've noticed several times the use of the following statement: "However, Soviets lost the Battle of Warsaw and were pushed back by the Poles. Some historians credit this victory for saving Lithuania's independence from the Soviet coup". Why the need for qualification "some"? Do others oppose? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 16:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- There were plenty of other factors to consider: lack of popular support for Soviet causes, Lithuanian gov and military well established, peace treaty signed (fully recognizing independent Lithuania), etc. So unconditionally crediting just one factor is pov. Completely POV
[edit]Appears to be the work of a single emigré Lithuanian nationalist, relying entirely on revisionist and virulently anti-socialist sources. Really needs serious attention. DublinDilettante (talk) 07:07, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
Skype in references?
[edit]Greetings. Is 0966-8136 an ISSN or a telephone number? What would a telephone number be doing in the references? See reference 10 White, James D. (1994). "National Communism and World Revolution: The Political Consequences of German Military Withdrawal from the Baltic Area in 1918–19". Europe–Asia Studies 8 (46): 1363. ISSN 0966-8136. Any string of numbers in that format (from 0910-0000 thru 0999-9999) turns into a Skype telephone number. What's going on here? Thank you for clarifying. - Sorry. This had nothing to do with Wikipedia. It was my browser that was playing that trick on me. If you disable "number highlighting" everything comes back to normal and ISSNs stay ISSNs and don't turn into Skype telephone numbers. Cringe
[edit]Just cringe. This article, obviously redacted by a Lithuanian nationalist, trusts in sources like the very Lithuanian State's republic or blatant Lithuanian nationalist propaganda. Cool stuff. 31.221.252.254 (talk) 02:02, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
