Useful code (please don't archive this section)

[edit]

Here is a blank table whose code can be conveniently copy-pasted in the main article when needed. I've used internal notes to label the columns each cell in the row belong to. Please don't archive this section heading as it should be available to editors perpetually to ease adding to the list. Abyssal (talk) 01:29, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Move

[edit]

There are also lists of type specimens for mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, ichthyosaurs, and pterosaurs, which do not fit on this page under its current title. However, they are similar enough to the topic that I think it would be appropriate to move the article and format the sections by vernacular name (i.e. dinosaurs, marine reptiles, other groups, etc) rather than creating a new page for the non-dinosaur fossil type specimens. The other lists of type specimens are very incomplete, but I plan on working on them very soon, as well as creating new lists for fossil crocodilians, birds, and other Mesozoic animals and they would also belong on this page when they are completed. --A Cynical Idealist (talk) 05:56, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
