Creation of List of years in Scotland Article

I have taken it upon myself to create an article on Wikipedia regarding Specific years and decades in Scotland. The reason I did so was due to the fact that two other constituent countries of the United Kingdom, England and Wales, already have their own articles for years and decades in those regions yet Scotland, which is also part of the UK, does not have its own article. I admit that I would like to get in touch with the editors and any other members of the Wikipedia community who specialize in Scottish History. Listing decades vs. years

Several centuries have articles for both decades and years (see f.x. 1700s in Scotland and 1700 in Scotland), leading to significant overlap between articles. While all active articles should be listed on this page, I think an effort should be made to consolidate these lists going forward. I've merged and listed years in the 13th century by decade, but I think that some centuries (like the 17th) should be left as individual years, while the articles on decades are parsed out to the relevant pages and eventually deleted to avoid confusion.
