Earlier annual charts?
[edit]I'm fairly certain there were annual charts produced in the first half of the 1980s as well (and perhaps other times, but those are the ones I remember). From memory, the number one singles of each year were: 1980 "Locomotion" Ritz 1981 "Stars on 45" Stars on 45 1982 "Beautiful Woman" Toots and the Maytals 1983 "Blue Monday" New Order 1984 "Poi-E" Patea Maori Club I don't know where anyone would find this information now, but surely there's some sort of chart archive that music industry insiders would have access to? - Hmmm. I don't know; NZ charts don't receive much coverage are pretty hard to track. Maybe the RIANZ has that info? Adabow (talk · contribs) 10:22, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
