[edit]Several spelling and grammatical errors.
Question
[edit]Should Mary Shelly really be in "Maternal Death of Mother's of Famous People" section, since her mother and father were famous in their own right, and her mother is already mentioned as a famous death. Other people in similiar circumstances, such as Edward the VI, who was king and who's father was, has his mother, Jane Seymour, mentioned only in the famous deaths category.
Similiarly, the heading "Maternal Death of Mothers of Famous People" is confusing, suggest something simpler.
List, over all, seems incomplete.
Move
[edit]I suggest this article be moved to "List of famous women who died in childbirth", because the current title is misleading, and causes one to think that this is an incomplete list of all women who have died during parturition. Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 19:26, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
What about all the other thousands and million of women who died in childbirth? I think this section should be renamed... I agree with adding the "famous" keyword. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.158.109.144 (talk) 08:11, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
"notable" would be a better term as not all those that died were famous in their own right. AlwynJPie (talk) 11:50, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Should "Year of Birth" as well as Death be shown?
[edit]To help identify many of the listed characters more quickly, I feel their year of birth should be shown as well as death. But, of course, I would still prefer listing them in the chronological order of their deaths, as they are now, as this is the important event. Any thoughts?AlwynJPie (talk) 12:33, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
Eleanor de Braose (1226-1251)

Emilia Wojtyła
[edit]This list includes
- Emilia Wojtyła (1929), mother of Pope John Paul II.
But this page says she died of heart and kidney problems. Her Polish page says (with the help of Google Translate): "Some sources have erroneously reported that during the birth of the fourth child." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhknight (talk • contribs) 22:40, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
France - Antoinette Gabrielle Charpentier (wife of George Jacques Danton) should be included, because she died after giving birth to a stillborn son. Great Britain - Mary Powell & Katherine Woodcock, first two wives of a famous poet John Milton. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.68.103.4 (talk) 00:58, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
