Wildlife Art Societies

Marwell International Wildlife Art Society (MIWAS) is based at Marwell Wildlife Park in Hampshire, (United Kingdom) and is the largest wildlife art society in Europe. It was founded by the wildlife artist Pip Mcgarry in early 1999 and by mid 2009 had approximately 325 members. The group hold the world's largest annual wildlife art exhibition in August of each year, with over 700 exhibits by more than 170 participating artists and sculptors on display in the historic mansion Marwell Hall. On the weekend of the exhibition, (which is on for four days), next to the main exhibition artists and sculptors take art 'pitches' in two large marquees in order to demonstrate their skills, sell prints, cards, photos and original works in addition to the main show. The group welcome new members and have a website www.miwas.co.uk

Von Wright brothers

The Von Wright brothers, are missing, most notably Ferdinand von Wright. They all painted birds, as you can see from commons:Category:Svenska fåglar (von Wright). 82.141.75.77 (talk) 01:39, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gerald Durrell's presence on this list

While Durrell's article says that he "was a talented artist and caricaturist", I can't find much evidence on Google that he was a wildlife artist, and his article doesn't list "wildlife artist" among the categories. Could anyone please let me know if he should be on this list or not?--Thylacine24 (talk) 00:38, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
