Episcopal Church removed

[edit]

I have removed the "Episcopal Church" section. Issues:

  1. No references (except one for Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi which is [failed verification])
  2. It seems to relate to Protestantism in general as opposed to Episcopal Church (United States) or any other Episcopal Church (disambiguation)
  3. Many are from denominations that do not practice veneration in the sense given in the lede of this article. Admittedly one or two may be venerated by some denomination other than their own (e.g. Martin Luther King — though not AFAIK his wife — in Anglicanism).
  4. I suspect some couples were added on the assumption that the criterion for entry is something like "couples who did Worthy Deeds motivated by Christian Faith" which is too vague for a Wikipedia list.

FWIW here is the list:

[edit]

Is there any source that Elisabeth Marohania Kagitaki Ragitake Urepotahi is considered a Servant of God like her husband? The cited source only lists her husband and not her. KAVEBEAR (talk) 03:43, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
