Number of mechanical floors, and floor 91 in particular

[edit]

According to this article, the building has 94 stories, but the top floor is numbered 104. This means that 10 floors in this building do not actually exist. However, the table has a row for each 104 floor, which means some of them are not correct.

According to the WSJ article, floors 91 through 93 are mechanical floors, and the very next floor (what should be called 94) is labelled floor 100.[1] Therefore, floors 94 through 99 should be removed from this article as they don't actually exist. Interestingly, floor 91 has tenants listed: J&M Corporation, WWTR Binary Recovery. It seems this was originally listed as a mechanical floor until 2018 when an IP user changed it to J&M, then added WWTR, both without references. Since I can't find any source that confirms this, I think these are not correct.

Still, if floors 94 through 99 are removed from the article, there are still other floors in this table that don't actually exist. It is likely to do with floors 2 through 19. According to WSP (which helped design the building), there are actually only 4 mechanical floors below floor 20.[2] This implies that we should either remove floors 2 through 15, or floors 6 through 19. I'm not sure yet which to do. Mokadoshi (talk) 04:21, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
