[edit]Wouldn't these be "prettier" in the form of tables instead of lists?
Something like:

Dividing page up
[edit]How about splitting some of the larger countries into separate pages, so that we try to cut down on the page size. If we were to do that, and link this page to those smaller pages, the size of this page would decrease dramatically. Something to think about.
I think would be a good idea to divide by continent. Another thing...a lot of cable channels are on here. Isn't this only for broadcast networks?--Attitude2000 03:09, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Iceland?
[edit]This list is supposed to be a list of TV networks, right? I'm not sure all of the countries on there actually have any networks. I know Iceland (where I'm from) doesn't, at least. We have a number of TV channels, 5 free and 3 you have to pay to get, but they're all nation-wide having nothing to do with networks. I imagine this may well be the case in more small countries. Also, I live in Iceland, but I've never heard of two of those channels, "Next Channel" and "KSAW-TV ABC Twin Falls" so I'm removing those, and I assume this gospel channel is what's in Iceland at least called Omega, but I don't really know anything about it since it's Christian and I don't like it so I won't change that, and you've left out one channel, called Sirkus. --Sterio 12:02, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Network/Channels
[edit]As this is about TV networks and not channels, I think some should be deleted. Drogo 15:21, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
- It seems the most should be deleted, but I don't really know which is a network and which is a channel... I at least replaced Japanese stations to networks, but maybe we should make the completely new list. Kzaral 09:50, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Bad case of flagcruft
[edit]Flags on every single heading? That's ridiculous! --Closedmouth (talk) 14:13, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
United States
[edit]Usually when there is a list of countries the US is first and then all of the other countries. Why do I have to scroll so far down to find the US? As the worlds most powerful and important nation we should be at the top of the list before the other countries. 58.178.44.92 (talk) 08:14, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry with my comment anyone. I have fixed it and moved the United Sates to the top. I can't believe this list had us below such crap countries lol. 58.178.44.92 (talk) 08:20, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
The country's name is sorted by alphabetical order not whose the powerful one. 70.78.209.64 (talk) 21:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Mexico
[edit]The List of Mexican television networks article contains less information than the Mexico section of this article. The little additional information on that article should be merged into the Mexico section on this article. Neelix (talk) 01:52, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Inadecuate Edition
[edit]People is filling this article with TV channels instead of TV networks. Please, verify the information adecuately. 190.40.118.87 (talk) 22:49, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Proposed merge with List of television networks
[edit]at least one entry not in current list (from this old list) Widefox; talk 20:49, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Support merge. No need for two articles with the same information arranged differently.
- The best way to do it might be a sortable table for both station name and country. Narky Blert (talk) 17:21, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
- Widefox might have been able to find one back in April 2018, but I can't find any; hence, redirected rather than merging. Klbrain (talk) 19:35, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Cleanup
[edit]This is a List of television networks by country, not a listing of individual stations and individual programming. List has ballooned well past the inclusion criteria, cleanup started, rm individual stations and unsourced entries without articles. Cleanup formatting to make sections uniformly styled. // Timothy :: talk 07:10, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
Why were a bunch of countries removed from this page?
[edit]I'm very confused. Why doesn't Canada, for example, have a section anymore? It's weird to me. 2001:56A:F12F:800:788B:E5B9:9470:846D (talk) 18:21, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- As noted above, the article is being cleaned up. These were empty of TV networks.
- If you have a network for a country, please add (with source).
- If you have a channel for a country, please add to the appropriate article.
- If a network was accidentally deleted, let me know. Here are the lists of TV channels by country >> Lists of television channels.
- This is an ongoing cleanup. I am working on A-E first. // Timothy :: talk 20:46, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
