Seperate table "Under construction or proposed" into "Under Construction" and "Proposed"
[edit]Hi, There are many listings of proposed but dead projects in the "Under construction or proposed" table like the "625m, Al-Aman World Capital Center" in Colombo and few others in China, Bangladesh etc. So, I propose we have two separate tables, one for "Under construction buildings" another for, "Proposed Buildings". This will help keep the under construction table to easily manageable level without been bloated with dead projects. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aksamzarook (talk • contribs) 04:07, 29 August 2018 (UTC)

Lanko·Grand Hyatt Hotel
[edit]The list has a "Lanko·Grand Hyatt Hotel" with 258 m height at 145th place. However, its article claims it was only planned but not built. 82.141.95.243 (talk) 03:14, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

No. 13
[edit]Why's the 13th place in the table empty? Is this some ridiculous thing about 13 being unlucky and stuff? Come on, folks- this is an encyclopedia, not a temple.84.92.64.170 (talk) 17:05, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Mistake in article
[edit]Can someone please correct the tallest timeline?
In 1965 Shalom Meir Tower in Tel Aviv was inaugurated. Its height during completion was 123m (it had another two floors added to it in 2003-4). Meaning that from '65 to '68 it was the tallest building in Asia. Should be repaired. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.215.96.113 (talk) 22:58, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

Suggest to change the column 'Country' into 'Country/Territories' on the list
[edit]Hello everyone.
According to Wikipedia's convention, Hong Kong is always been excluded from Peoples Republic of China when being mentioned/ranked on any list. It is ranked as 'Hong Kong' or 'Hong Kong, China' as a region or territory in most cases. As Hong Kong was a former British colony and currently a special administrative region, it is outside the territory of China and still very differentiable from China.
For instance, 'Hong Kong' is independently been mentioned and ranked on other wikipedia articles such as List of countries by Human Development Index or List of countries by GDP (PPP).
Therefore, I hope the column of 'Country' to be changed to 'Country/Territory' which 'Hong Kong' can be accurately be represented by its own flag and name instead of the Chinese flag/China.
Thank you and hope everyone could understand the role of Hong Kong worldwide. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Block1997 (talk • contribs) 10:21, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
- Strongly disagree. Hong Kong is not an independent country according to the most reliable source - the UN. There are good reasons to mention Hong Kong separately when the subject is human development or financial performance or health of population status but not when the reference to Hong Kong is geographical or relevant to countries or states. Therefore location of buildings can be mentioned as being in a city or area but if the country is part of the information then this should be the country as defined by the most reliable source for countries - the UN. Changing a column in a table to fit a 'special administrative region' is manipulating the encyclopaedia for political ends (no matter how much one may agree with Hong Kong's special status or desire to be independent) and to be consistent all special regions of countries across the world would have to be included. This would make any table confusing and unhelpful to a lay readerRobynthehode (talk) 07:35, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
