Here's an article that may be useful: [4] --NE2 11:35, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an interesting list of unused tracks in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle June 18, 1902 page 3. --NE2 19:38, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In May 1913 there were still 6 horse car lines: [5] This included the Avenue B Line, West Belt Line, and Bleecker Street Line. --NE2 23:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Four East Side storage battery lines were bustituted in September 1919: Avenue C Line, Spring and Delancey Streets Line (Metropolitan Crosstown), Chambers and Madison Streets Line, and Sixth Avenue Ferry Line. It looks like it was three companies operating four lines - or maybe it's saying that only three bus routes came out of it; the Sixth Avenue Ferry Line might have been discontinued. But New York Railways definitely had the Avenue C, Metropolitan Crosstown, and Chambers and Madison Streets Lines. --NE2 04:42, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's a whole list of lines from 1906 in [6]. --NE2 15:12, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This book looks very useful: [7] --NE2 16:30, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[8] confirms that the Avenue B Line was in 24th and not 23rd. --NE2 03:54, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am being confused by names. Does this list include the cable lines pulled by Cable Building (New York City)? Jim.henderson (talk) 18:50, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
