Is this list a joke? Not even Dresden or Berlin are mentioned! Under "strategic bombing of cities" air raids against any (military) target within the area of a city should be covered (e.g.: production facility, traffic junction,...)not only area bombing of cities (civilians). As is implemented by the term "strategic" as opposed to "tactical bombing". Schweinfurt, Regensburg, Hamburg, and tens if not hundret others, also cities in Austria.

The introduction sounds like it was written by a Mosquito-Fanboy. The vast majority of this bombing was conducted by heavy four engined bombers.

I neither have the sources nor the english skills (not a native speaker) to edit this. I would suggest to expand the list so that every major air raid on a target within a german city is covered. Or to delete it completly. Truedings (talk) 20:15, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Completion of the list

[edit]

I would like to update the list of bombing raids according to the German Wikipedia and bring it to a historically verifiable state. I would also suggest changing the lemma to ‘List of Allied air bombardments over Germany (1939-1945)’. Are there any objections to this? Bernhard Steppan (talk) 16:45, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
