Epsilon Boötes seems to have two distinct entries on the list.

[edit]

Is it possible that one of them is meant to be ε1 and one is ε2? They have different locations (Right Ascension and Declination) GiggyMantis (talk) 20:47, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's been there a long time! It might well be intended to show both components of this double star, but it fails miserably. The secondary is much fainter than the primary. The HD designation listed in the article for the brighter star belongs to the fainter of the pair, and vice versa. The coordinates are messed up, being close but not quite right for the primary (perhaps correct for some source, but I can't see which, perhaps one of the double-star catalogues) and not even close for the secondary. I'm taking the second star out of the list and altering the entry for the first star to match the linked article. Lithopsian (talk) 21:37, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
