[edit]Should this list be sorted by capacity, rather than alphabetically? It just seems like that would be more useful. Any objections? Lord Cornwallis (talk) 20:00, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
All League Of Ireland grounds definitely have floodlights, almost all the matches are played at night. Corrected Morton Stadium Backbeatlistener (talk) 14:42, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Croke Park
[edit]The capacity of Croke Park is 82,500. The seated capacity is 69,000ish. However, temporary seats can be added to hill 16 to give a rough 74,000 capacity. So....to the person who KEEPS stating that the capacity is 82,500 with 73,500 seated, please stop, the information is misleading. When the seated capacity is 73,500 that is also the total capacity. To explain this I have added a footnote. Please stop editing the details. Fionnsci (talk) 17:28, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
McHale Park
[edit]According to its page a redevelopment of McHale Park was due to finish September this year. I live in Scotland so don't know the ins and outs, but if this info is correct then this page needs to be updated putting McHale Park at 41,000 all seater with floodlighting. --Lochheart (talk) 12:26, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Order by safe capacity or (former) maximum?
[edit]Recent edits have reordered many stadiums in the table according to a supposed maximum capacity, in most cases based on past maximum capacity when different safety standards applied. Given that safety audits have prescribed new maximums that in most cases are thousands fewer than the old figures, shouldn't the list be ordered according to the number of people actually allowed in today? The lede paragraph states "capacity figures are permanent total capacity as authorised by the controlling body" - so ordering them with the old figure first implies that the GAA, FAI etc. would permit the non-safe higher number. Rather than revert all I'd like to seek views here on which should be used. Brocach (talk) 16:06, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
