Duplicated pages?

[edit]

It seems that Songs about nuclear war and List of songs about nuclear war and weapons may have overlapping themes. Should they be merged? --2601:285:580:2333:EC71:ABD9:BD03:9F30 (talk) 06:45, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like they have been. Morganfitzp (talk) 18:36, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Dylan's "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall" probably shouldn't be here

[edit]

In the song's article[1], it says that, while Dylan was quoted as saying it was a response to the Cuban missile crisis, the song was written a month before it even happened.

And while some also thought the chorus is a reference to nuclear fallout, he said "No, it's not atomic rain, it's just a hard rain. It isn't the fallout rain. I mean some sort of end that's just gotta happen ... In the last verse, when I say, 'the pellets of poison are flooding the waters,' that means all the lies that people get told on their radios and in their newspapers.".

Because of this, I'm not sure Dylan's song should be listed here. 177.85.3.12 (talk) 14:45, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Doctorhawkes (talk) 04:01, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
