We need to establish a more stringent standard for inclusion in this list, i.e., songs must have some substantive link to New Orleans, not simply make a passing reference. Furthermore, songs about Louisiana are not necessarily about New Orleans. I am going to be weeding out songs that are not appropriate by these standards. In keeping with the comment above, I altered the description at the top of the page, which had included songs that merely "mentioned" New Orleans. With that in mind, I removed "Jesus Just Left Chicago," by ZZ Top, which only mentions the city, but it not about the city. ---The Old JacobiteThe '4517:07, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
