Nelly/Nellie moved to 1876
[edit]Hello. I moved the Nelly/Nellie entry to 1876, as my sources state that was the year she was wrecked. April 16, 1877 is simply the last entry in the log the captain kept ashore on Big Shantar Island. Also, it appears she was wrecked in Yakshin Bay, as there isn't a bay a vessel can anchor in on the east side of the island. All my sources state she was prospecting for gold. It was stated that was she found by "the sealing schooner Tungus", but I don't know of any sealing vessels that went to the Shantar islands. I only know of ones that went to Iony or Tyuleniy Island. The vessel that found her was actually the schooner Hannah Rice, which makes sense given that was one of Otto W. Lindholm's whaling schooners, one of the few vessels that frequented the region.
