Material from List of ship companies was split to other pages. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter pages, and it must not be deleted so long as the latter pages exist. Please leave this template in place to link the article histories and preserve this attribution.
This is a request for new articles to be created for the shipping companies listed in this article.

Well, you can note that, but typically these lists consist of notable companies--otherwise you're turning Wikipedia into a directory of unverified information and/or spam. Drmies (talk) 03:38, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately this page is subject to vandalism and and reversions to different shipping companies! There might be a commercial interest in changing some of the names of shipping lines to ones favoured by vandals.
