For whatever reason this keeps getting deleted, please discuss why you think it should not be included, rather than just removing it. An edit summary would be useful. - Thanks.--Egghead06 (talk) 05:46, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- It is probably being removed because it is wrong. They were married in the Cathedral of Notre Dame d'Eu not the Chateau. I have no idea where the Cathedral of Notre Dame d'Eu is though.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 17:26, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Sub-sections of locations
[edit]There is no need to group marriages by marriage location. Instead of having sub-sections named "X Church", add the location to the entry.--Zoupan 13:19, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

Other royal English weddings
[edit]Why is there a gap between 1382 and 1795 for royal weddings in the United Kingdom? Henry VII married Elizabeth of York at Westminster Abbey in 1486 and Mary I married Philip II of Spain at Winchester Cathedral in 1554, and I'm sure there must be others. Is there some restriction on this list that isn't obvious? Leschnei (talk) 03:16, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
This list makes no sense. There were thousands of rulers during history and most of them were married. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AB88:50C3:1880:64D6:D91:43ED:25F2 (talk) 16:36, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
- This article only lists notable royal weddings - i.e. those we have articles on. Sure, there have probably been millions more royal weddings in general, but if we don't have an article on it, it shouldn't be listed here. ansh666 20:24, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
- That is a totally arbitrary criteria for such a list. A way better criteria would be to limit the list to weddings of reigning monarchs and heirs apparent/presumptive. --Marbe166 (talk) 21:11, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- No, that sounds like a totally arbitrary criterion - and would still result in an unmanageably large list full of poorly-sourced entries. The current method is the only real way it can be reasonably maintained. The solution for its current limited scope is to make articles on the other royal weddings - and I'm sure there are many - that meet WP:N, and then add them in. ansh666 01:18, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
