Criteria for Inclusion

[edit]

I propose the following notability guidelines for inclusion in this list: the artist must be notable enough to either have a separate wikipedia entry OR must have contributed to a notable game as evidenced by a reference/citation of some sort. If neither the game nor the artist already has a wikipedia page, please add a citation to a reliable, third party (in other words, not the artist or the game's website) source to show that this is a notable artist. The artist doesn't have to be mentioned in the reference source, just the game. It is acceptable to use the game and/or artist's website to "prove" that they worked on that particular product, but not to show notability. All I'm asking is that you make some attempt to show that the person/collective is notable. If the artist or the game they worked on have a separate article, then I think we're safe. I hope this makes sense, if not or if you disagree, please let me know. Vampyrecat (talk) 01:38, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
