North Fork Elk River

[edit]

I added this river to the list as it shows up on USGS topo maps. GNIS lists it as North Fork Elk Creek, probably why it didn't show up on this list. Looking at GNIS data, West Fork Elk River seems to be a rather short separate channel of the Elk River. Not sure how it rated the name river. --Footwarrior (talk) 23:44, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stinking Water Creek

[edit]

The current link is a redirect to a stream in Montana. I can't find any record of such a creek in the Kansas river watershed that enters Colorado, so I removed it from the Tributary list. --Footwarrior (talk) 19:31, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The watershed for this creek does extend into Colorado, even if the creek doesn't. If someone does decide to create an article, Stinking Water Creek (Kansas) would be appropriate. --Footwarrior (talk) 22:23, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
