Mobile Radio Station Merge Discussion
[edit]Merge, but with a caveat. I can see why we'd want to merge. Before doing that, however, the Mobile-specific list is far more comprehensive for that market and also has better formatting. I'd suggest that we get the Alabama statewide list up to Mobile's standard before merging. Goeverywhere 23:58, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Mobile list appears to include a large number of stations that are actually in Mississippi or Florida, and hence don't belong in this list at all. Radio station lists on Wikipedia are grouped by "actual city of license", not by "audible in this market no matter where they're from". However, individual markets are permitted a more general media article that lists radio, television and print media, so I'm going to move the Mobile list to a general media title instead of redirecting it here.
