TeenNick Program Reconstruction

[edit]

I have maintained The N's list linked to The N's wiki page under "List of programs broadcast by The N". This page, TeenNick, should only have programming airing on the network AFTER September 27, 2009. Thanks.

In regards to this, there is no article for The N anymore, it was likely merged with the TeenNick article; also TeenNick by definition is the same channel as The N, the only difference being the name, the logo and the imaging. If TeenNick's format were different from that of The N, it would make sense to maintain the two networks' program lists as separate articles, but since TeenNick and The N have no differences in format from one another, a possible merging of the two articles should be put to a vote by the Wikipedia members that access the "List of programs broadcast by TeenNick" and the "List of programs broadcast by The N" articles and see this discussion on the respective articles. The Nightly Show?

[edit]

Wasnt there a report about a late night talk show or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.228.185.109 (talk) 23:12, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Current Programming?

[edit]

I would like to edit this, but I don't know where to begin. I don't understand why How to Rock is listed under Repeats of Nick Series... I'm pretty sure that's new. Also, it's difficult for me to know what section all of the shows go under. Where do I find this type of information? I will try some edits now, but please don't hate me if they are wrong. Thanks... Thepoodlechef (talk) 21:12, 29 March 2012 (UTC) Ok, so now that I've done a minor edit (btw, my only source was nickelodeon.com) I am going to list all the shows that need to be removed. I don't know where to move them to and I don't know when they stopped airing on teennick, so I'm just going to compile a list and people can either tell me what to do or do it themselves. thanks SHOWS THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CURRENT PROGRAMMING SECTION (BTW THIS IS A TENTATIVE LIST, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BE WRONG): Mini-series and specials Obsess This (May 8, 2010 – present) Repeats of Nick series Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures (October 15, 2011 – present) How to Rock (February 6, 2012- present) - I'm pretty sure this just needs to change categories. The '90s Are All That All That (July 25, 2011 – present) Doug (July 25, 2011 – present) Kenan & Kel (July 25, 2011 – present) Rugrats (November 29, 2011 – present) Hey Arnold! (September 5, 2011 – present) Acquired programming The Facts of Life (March 12, 2012 - present) I honestly don't know anything about the Upcoming programming The '90s Are All That, section. And the rest is former, so I don't know how to get dates of when it was removed from Teennick or maybe those dates are right... I don't know. I hope this helped! Thepoodlechef (talk) 21:46, 29 March 2012 (UTC) Why is Degrassi referred to as Degrair? 98.246.84.7 (talk) 23:10, 24 July 2013 (UTC) Anonymous Editor I am in the process of relocating Doug from "current programing" to "former programming" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.59.202.30 (talk) 17:55, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

O'Grady?

Why isn't O'Grady listed? --24.12.117.213 (talk) 03:33, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The 90s Are All That and other rerun content

[edit]

Why are we tracking date ranges for re-runs in the 90s Are All That block? Why are we tracking reruns at all? How do any of you who contribute this persistently unsourced content plan to be sure it meets Wikipedia's verifiability standards? A first-run series is easy to verify, because those start/end dates are the ones anyone cares about and people log that information in books, at TVGuide.com, Amazon's Instant Video, etc. Who among you can produce a reliable source or sources that supports: Doug (2011–2013; 2014; 2015–present) or Drake & Josh (2008–present). I'm proposing that all the rerun nonsense be cut. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:06, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: Rather, programming guides, if possible, should be used as a source. ElectricBurst(Electron firings)(Zaps) 20:26, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, programming guides are not used as sources, which is why the article is largely unsourced. Do you actually trust the accuracy of the content in this article? Who ever bothers to question or verify it, and what sources are being used? And the much larger issue (which I have also raised at WikiProject Television) is about whether or not rerun content is even noteworthy, which I don't believe it is. To my knowledge, nobody has ever made a case that logging reruns are worth anyone's time. Who, aside from the obsessive types that haunt these articles cares about when Doug aired on a non-original network, and why is it relevant? What academic purpose is it serving? Further, I'm unclear on how you see this going down--you personally, Electricburst1996, are going to dig up TV Guides from 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 to verify that Doug aired in these years, and then you'll do that for every series here? You've gotta be kidding. If that was in the cards, I imagine it would have been done by now. Anyhow, lest it be forgotten, the bigger issue is about whether or not rerun content is even noteworthy. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:43, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This has not yet been resolved. @Electricburst1996: Do you have any thoughts for how to reasonably verify this content? And, since as you know, consensus is not determined through voting, can you please expound on how the date ranges for rerun content is noteworthy and what academic purpose it serves? Danke, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:00, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Cyphoidbomb: Well, I can try and see if TeenNick's schedule page has been archived on the Wayback Machine. ElectricBurst(Electron firings)(Zaps) 16:22, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Separate "The Splat" programming and TeenNick programming

[edit]

The Splat is growing and is now treated as a separate entity, rather than a part of TeenNick. Much like how Adult Swim is a separate entity of Cartoon Network, The Splat has had separate programming and separate programming blocks, that all aren't listed on "List of programs broadcast by TeenNick". I recommend that The Splat gets its own page titled "List of programs broadcast by The Splat". Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures

[edit]

This show was syndicated on TeenNick the same year it premiered on Nickelodeon before it moved to TeenNick. Would it be much trouble to list this show on both the "Original programming" and the "Repeats of Nickelodeon series" lists? — Preceding unsigned comment added by NDEdminson (talkcontribs) 20:09, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My life as a teenage robot

[edit]

The premiere date is incorrect to my knowledge. It says it premiered in 2021 but I grew up watching it so that's not factual. Cross referencing with its own wiki article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Life_as_a_Teenage_Robot) states that the show ran from 2005-2012, although I am not sure of an official "premiere date". --72.142.27.134 (talk) 08:33, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
