[edit]Hey, everyone! I included all three countries that President Obama will visit during his 9-day visit to Asia to attend four summits as one trip. The reason I did that was due to their continuity, meaning he continues traveling, without returning to the US. I hope that is the proper format for use in this article.
On a side issue, I don't want to get too far ahead, which is why I have not yet included his trip to Paris in December. But Obama's trip to Newark and Asia are confirmed, and barring major calamity before hand will happen as scheduled. As always, I enjoy any and all good faith and constructive criticism. Thanks!Juneau Mike (talk) 21:40, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you so much for adding information on the President's summit trip to Asia. Based from what I have seen in this page and other governmental trip-related pages, countries/states are separated from each other even if they are considered one trip and details regarding these visits are placed in their respective countries/states. Also based from what I have seen, countries/states are only combined into one field if they are visited within each other. An example that I have seen is Obama's trip to the West Bank in 2013, where he first traveled to Israel, went to the West Bank in between, and traveled back to Israel, entering this into the List of presidential trips made by Barack Obama page in one field. However, I am not sure if this is the official format or whatever because the case of his trips to Vatican City (within Italy) seem to be different, but the format of countries/states being separated is what I use to be consistent with the majority of the entries in these trip-related pages that show the format. Because of this, I will tweak the entry in order to be consistent with other entries. But still, thank you for your efforts in adding that information. - PatTag2659, a hopeful aviator (talk) 14:04, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
