First Dibbs ministry
[edit]The list shows George Dibbs' first ministry lasted for just two days. Whilst it is correct that he was Colonial Secretary for this short period before handing over to Sir Patrick Jenning, Dibbs maintained control as Colonial Premier (then called 'Prime Minister') for 75 days from 7 October 1885 until 21 December 1885. Sir John Robertson succeeded Dibbs, as Colonial Premier on 22 December 1885.
