the list of bands is very long and some probably aren't notable and just lead to a disambiguation. this list needs clearing up Jonjonjohny (talk) 10:32, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted a lot of bands that are commonly confused with Post Hardcore, such as Black Veil Brides - M

Black Veil Brides are however Post-Hardcore, they just don't like to be classified by that term - D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.220.242.100 (talk) 14:33, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

Following the example of Progressive post-hardcore (which basically held the same content as Post-hardcore#Experimental_and_progressive [1]), and noticing the practically few artists included in the list, I think that the content of the List of progressive post-hardcore bands can be safely put in here. --190.159.187.70 (talk) 02:57, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. A list of six artists should not have it's own article. Fezmar9 (talk) 14:36, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since there seems to be no disagreement with this, and that list only has one referenced band, I'm gonna be bold, add the reference for the only properly sourced band (Dance Gavin Dance) here, and redirect it. --190.157.238.103 (talk) 21:15, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re-structuring ther list of post-hardcore bands

[edit]

This article needs be structured like the lists of emo and screamo artist pages. this is filled with Unsourced bands and requires assistance. Is their any editors that like me want to restructure this page? Jonjonjohny (talk) 12:26, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm minimally active right now, but I'll help where I can.--¿3family6 contribs 23:48, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Self-attribution vs. outside attribution

[edit]

How many of these artists actually refer to themselves as “post-hardcore?” If any artist does not refer to themselves as “post-hardcore,” should they be included in this article? Morganfitzp (talk) 16:55, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I don't care if artists refer to themselves as "post-hardcore". It only matters if reliable, secondary sources do. Woodroar (talk) 21:27, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
