Excellent work, but I would suggest that we link to A Picturesque Tour of the Island of Jamaica on Wikisource. Leutha (talk) 18:12, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever its origin, I have to say that the title of the article as it stands is misleading. IF its origin is Hakewill, the title should surely say so. To take one example, Rhine in St Thomas in the East, the single source quited isn't Hakewill at all - and though it's a reputable publication, it doesn't say much about Rhine, for which there doesn't seem to be an image. Part of thetrouble is that identities of plantations were not permanent - they could be sold in whole or in part, their names could be changed, they could be abandoned, and even then some names go missing altogether. If the aim here is to build up a comprensive list of names, it hasn't been addressed much. If the aim is NOT to link directly to Hakewill, whatver it is should be statedDelahays (talk) 13:45, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
